In response to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Alaya Dedaun Kuta together with Tanaya Bed & Breakfast and Dala Spa & Tan’s Bakery & Pastry hosted an essential health screening initiative on 30th October 2018. This included free breast examinations, pap smears and eye checks for all staff members, especially women, and their respective families. The program was conducted in association with RSU Bhakti Rahayu and Queen Optical.

A team of doctors screened more than 100 participants. It was an opportunity for everyone involved to discuss their personal health concerns with experts and receive free medication for specific ailments. Alaya Dedaun Kuta would like to express its appreciation to RSU Bhakti Rahayu and Queen Optical Bali for supporting this worthy initiative as part of a wider effort to provide essential health care during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is currently the top cancer effecting women around the world right now with one out of eight women experiencing some form the disease during their lifetime. Early detection saves lives!
