The main pool at Alaya Resort Ubud has been designed exclusively by Grounds Kent Architects as a statement piece dedicated to local craftsmanship. It is elongated with shapely curves mirroring the sloping contours of the surrounding landscape. A bamboo bridge crosses the centre of the pool and the whole outer area is covered in natural stone.

The second pool is equally as impressive and is a refreshing body of crystal clear water facing the rice field. There is ample space to leisurely laze the day away with a collection of reclining chairs and shady sunbrellas. The landscape at Alaya Resort Ubud is the work of Made Wijaya, Bali’s very own authority on tropical gardens. Open daily from 7am to 6pm
