Bali, Indonesia – In honour of Independence Day, Alaya Resort Ubud, a premier 5-star luxury hotel, is proud to announce its commitment to community welfare through a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This year, the hotel  organised a blood donation drive on August 14 and contributed educational resources to local schools in Gurukula, Bangli on August 16.

Blood Donation Drive 

This impactful initiative, organised in collaboration with PMI and Omsa Clinic, aimed to support the vital need for blood donations and foster a sense of community solidarity. The blood donation drive took place in the hotel’s multi-functions room, which was transformed into a welcoming and efficient donation center. The event saw participation for all of the staff members and local community all coming together to contribute to this life-saving cause. In addition to the blood donation drive, Alaya Resort Ubud also offered complimentary refreshments and wellness check-ups for all participants, ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience for everyone involved.

Educational Contributions

In addition to the blood donation drive, Alaya Resort Ubud makes substantial donations to local schools as part of its ongoing commitment to education. This initiative will provide essential supplies, including books, stationery, and educational tools, to enhance the learning experience for students in need. Hotel’s representatives were visiting the schools in Gurukula, Bangli to deliver the donations and engage with students and teachers, celebrating the spirit of Independence Day by fostering educational growth.

Both of these CSR programs were also part of Alaya Resort Ubud’s deep commitment to the principles of Tri Hita Karana. This innovative initiative focuses on harmonising the relationships between humans, nature, and the divine, and is designed to make a positive impact on the community and environment.
